Rep. King: Maybe Thousands of Hezbollah Agents in Americ

21 March, 2012

Thank you Libtards and Lefturds!  After all, if we would have been allowed to close off the borders, I doubt very seriously we would be talking about “thousands” of Hezbollah agents sneaking into the United States!

Peter King warns: Hezbollah agents in U.S.
By MJ LEE – Politico

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) warned Wednesday that there are hundreds — maybe even thousands — of Hezbollah agents inside the United States capable of launching a terror attack if U.S.-Iran tensions continue to escalate.

“The American intelligence community … believes we are very much at risk for an attack by Iranian operatives, which would be Hezbollah, that is a terrorist-trained force in this country. It really is the ‘A’ team of international terrorism — far more sophisticated than Al Qaeda,” the chairman of the Homeland Security Committee said on CNN’s “Starting Point.”

King, whose committee is holding a hearing Wednesday to “educate” Americans and members of Congress about the threat of Iran, explained that Hezbollah has had agents and operatives inside the U.S. for many years for the purpose of fundraising and recruiting.

And while the conventional wisdom until recently has been that they were not necessarily stationed in the U.S. to carry out terrorist attacks, the Republican congressman warned Wednesday that especially given the recent tension between Israel and Iran, as well as questions surrounding Iran’s nuclear aspirations, a scenario in which Hezbollah agents mobilize an attack remains a real possibility.

“Conventional wisdom?”   What the heck?  These purveyors of “conventional wisdom” are a bunch of mental retards!  C’mon, what did you think Hezbollah was sent here for?   Obamacare?  Give me a freakin’ break!

“We do know that a number of them have been trained as terrorists, so the question is,how quickly they can be made operational, and would they carry out an attack?” he said. “We estimate it to be at least in the hundreds, maybe the thousands of Hezbollah agents here in this country. And again, especially if things intensify between Israel and Iran, between the United States and Iran, could Iran take preemptive action in this action through Hezbollah?”

[…]

And if Israel attacks Iran, the congressman warned that the U.S. could certainly “find itself implicated or involved” in the crisis.

Hezbollah Salutes Helen Thomas for Her “Courageous” Anti-Semitic Outburst

9 June, 2010

Hmmm…  This might get me in trouble with Memaw, however,  I can’t help but bring up another such notorious incident:  Mel Gibson’s drunken rant against the Jews.

( Doh! )

Now, I’m not excusing Mel’s bad behavior, but I don’t seem to recall Hezbollah bestowing any honors on Mel.

Could this be because Helen Thomas is a true anti-Semite, and Mel was just a drunk making an ass of himself?   Or, does Mel’s religious affiliations have something to do with it?

In either case, if I were Mel, I’d sue for discrimination.  It’s the principle of the thing, gosh-darn-it:

Hezbollah stands by disgraced US reporter Helen Thomas

Published:     06.09.10, 21:09 / Israel News

Hezbollah on Wednesday saluted veteran US reporter Helen Thomas’s “courage” for her controversial comments against Israel, which sparked a furor and forced her to retire.

“Respected American journalist Helen Thomas’s answer shows … a courageous, bold, honest and free opinion which expresses what people across the globe believe: that Israel is a racist state of murderers and thugs,” Hezbollah MP Hussein Moussawi said in a statement. (AFP)

This is Not Your Grandmother’s Hezbollah

Rumors of Armageddon
By Hollis Armstrong

The world now stands at the precipice of a global conflagration, waiting for the smallest trigger to set off the unstoppable momentum that will lead inevitably to World War III.

One of its most volatile centers is Lebanon, where the nexus of international terrorist activity is coming to a head so rapidly, that the leaders of mighty nations barely understand what is happening or how dramatically it will define their own futures. Under the banner of Hezbollah, Lebanon has turned into an armed camp, supplied largely by Iran and Syria. It is here that the next global war is most likely to begin.

This will be a battle between the most fundamental views of life. On one side, the modern Western view, based on the democratic principles of personal freedom and opportunity, and on the other, the archaic Islamist view, based on theocratic principles of cultural superiority and Islam’s rightful domination over every other world view.

This is not your grandmother’s Hezbollah. The systematic takeover of the Lebanese government through something considerably less than democratic process was designed and financed by the Iranian government. And while truck bombs and suicide bombers are not a thing of the past, they have been superseded by tens of thousands of sophisticated rockets and missiles, heavy weapons, WMD from Iran, and unmanned aircraft capable of deploying lethal payloads.

Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs Releases Photos of Seized Iranian Arms Shipment to Hezbollah

11 November, 2009

This is big news, yet it has been consistently ignored by Obama and the Lame Stream Media.  It is significant in that it shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Iran is arming Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon with rockets and other assorted weapons and munitions; in other words, Iran is gearing up Hezbollah for another assault on Israel.

Of course, it also proves that Iran is completely ignoring the UN arms embargo.  But hey, what else is new?

This updates our previous coverage HERE.

Israel says photos prove weapons ship came from Iran

Wed Nov 11, 7:56 AM

JERUSALEM (AFP) – Israel released documents and pictures on Wednesday which it said provided proof that a massive arms shipment seized at sea last week came from Iran.

Israeli commandos intercepted the Antigua-flagged “Francop” near the coast of Cyprus, claiming it was taking the weapons to Syria en route to the Lebanese Hezbollah militia.

Israel immediately accused arch-foe Iran of sending the cargo, but on Wednesday offered for the first time evidence to back up the charges and detailed the extent of the cache.

“Hidden among the dozens of other containers on board, and disguised as civilian goods, the ship contained a consignment of 36 shipping containers with 500 tones of arms en route via Syria to the Hezbollah terrorist organisation in Lebanon,” the army and foreign ministry said in a statement.

“A total of about 9,000 mortar bombs of different types were seized, along with about 3,000 Katyusha artillery rockets, 3,000 recoilless gun shells, 20,000 grenades and over half a million rounds of small arms ammunition,” the statement said.

It was accompanied by photos showing the ship’s manifest, containers bearing the logo of the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines and cargo with Iranian armed forces customs labels.

Among the weapons seized were 2,124 Iranian-made 107mm artillery rockets and thousands of AZ111-A2 fuses manufactured only in Iran, the statement said.

Pictures also showed boxes of rockets labelled as “parts of bulldozers,” a suggestion of attempts to disguise the shipment.

Iran and Hezbollah have both denied any link to the ship.

Israel, which was hit by thousands of rockets fired by Hezbollah during the 2006 war in Lebanon, has said the captured ship proved Iran was helping Hezbollah to prepare for another round of fighting.

Gaza: Big Jihad vs. Little Jihad

30 August, 2009

I always enjoy reading the work of Dr. Walid Phares, he has a unique viewpoint rarely seen in today’s fight against islamic fascism. This article points out what is obvious to our regular readership but is a totally alien concept to American officials, senior military officers and intelligence analysts. Jihad by any name, any group or any strategy remains jihad.

The goal of jihad in global enslavement. I would like to see our government develop a plan to widen the fissures in these jihadi groups and cause them to feast on themselves. The world’s best killers of muslims have always been other muslims. The diversity of the radical islamic groups should make it easy to work them into a full blown, frothing at the mouth jihadi rage and unleash them on each other.

By Dr. Walid Phares, 28 Aug 09, Muslim world today
Hamas’ attack against a Jihadist group inside Gaza is about to provide the Palestinian Islamist organization a pass to become a “mainstream” movement, acceptable internationally as a partner in negotiations. Or at least, that is what Hamas strategists think may happen as a result of crushing the minuscule militant entity known as Jund Ansar Allah (The Soldiers or the Partisans of Allah) last week. This is another murky development in the world of Jihadism, where the biggest brothers in holy war devoured the little ones, in a race between who can achieve final victory against the Kuffar (infidels). But in Gaza, these intra-Jihadist slaughter fests are peculiar in as much as the “Palestine cause” is so central to the Islamist political narrative worldwide.

In November of 2008, a new group in Rafah declared itself as the ultimate Salafi Jihadist force of Palestine. After many previous attempts made previously by al Qaeda-inspired factions at least since 2001, Jund Ansar Allah (JAA) led by Abel Latif Mussa, aka Abu al Nour al Maqdissi, seized the control of a local Mosque and segments of a neighborhood and launched a couple attacks against Israel as of early 2009.

The JAA issued many declarations calling for “real Jihad,” ending negotiations with Fatah, the international community and opposing any type of elections and constitutional structure in Gaza other than pure Sharia. From his pulpit, Sheikh Mussa criticized Hamas’ leadership for failing the Jihad they promised to deliver, and for betraying their own constitution calling for an Islamic Emirate all over Palestine, not just in Gaza and the West Bank. Hundreds of already indoctrinated youth joined the JAA and formed the nucleus of a Jihadi militia. Their ranks were growing at an alarming rate for Hamas, which felt time came to squash them, before they became a competitive organization. The JAA was on its ballistic way to devour Hamas from the inside. It was using the same doctrines upon which Hamas was founded, grew, and used to overthrow Fatah from Gaza.
-Love islamic style, build friendships and attack when their guard is down.

After a few incidents, Hamas forces overwhelmed the headquarters of JAA killing dozens of militants. The fighting took its toll on both groups. Unverified reports said Abu Jibril Shemali, commander of Izzedine al Qassam Brigades (Hamas’ SS-like force) and Abu Abdallah al Suri, JAA’s military commander were both killed in the clashes. The founder of the Jund Ansar Allah Abdel Latif Moussa was killed during the explosion of one of his suicide bombers as he targeted advancing Hamas fighters. By now, the “Jund” has been crushed, its mosque seized and its survivors pursued. In return, JAA underground has threatened to punish Hamas leadership for their apostasy against “Allah’s true fighters.” In this is Jihad versus Jihad inside a world of indoctrinated circles of militants, one circle enjoying power, money and recognition and the smaller circle wanting to snatch it away from the most powerful. But what are lessons we need to learn from this pool of piranhas, where big Jihadi fish eat little Jihadi fish?

1. According to many commentators on al Jazeera, Hamas chose to finish up the “Jund” as a maneuver to lure the West in general – Great Britain and the United States in particular – into “engaging” the organization, lifting its name from terror lists and adding it to the peace process between the Palestinians and Israel. Hamas spokespersons rushed to use one term that resonates greatly in Western ears, especially with the Obama Administration and the Brown Government: “We too are fighting the extremists, the terrorists as you are fighting them and pursuing al Qaeda,” declared Hamas English speaking communicators, hours after the combat was over. Analysts in the Arab world, shrewd enough to detect the Hamas tactical move, weren’t greedy in revealing their game: crushing an “al Qaeda” like group in Gaza would grant an immediate license to the mainstream for Hamas. One must expect sympathizing journalists, apologist academics and (soon enough) diplomats and envoys citing the “glorious” deeds of Hamas as evidence of fight “against terrorism.” Some savvier analysts believe many “engagement” architects in Europe and America have even suggested such a move to break the veto against Hamas.

Interestingly, the U.S. narrative lately has been underlining that there is no war against “Global Jihadsim” but only a “war against al Qaeda.” So those in the business of Jihad, including Hamas, Hezbollah and a plethora of other groups, can make their credential known to the West by slapping some local, little al Qaeda boys, and claiming a green card to the world of “accepted Jihadists.” Two summers ago, the Syrian regime and to an extent, Hezbollah, tried to come up with a similar model: Damascus released a copycat group in northern Lebanon, Fatah al Islam, before they claimed they beheaded the organization few months later, suggesting to Washington that Bashar can also kill al Qaeda crowds.
-Any American official, intelligence analyst or military officer that has not read the koran for themselves and measured its guidance against our American concept of respect, tolerance and fairness should be relieved for cause. If they did not take the time in the last eight years to learn about the evil ideology guiding our enemies then they are worthless. If one of you read this and disagree with my assessment, read the koran and we will discuss it. (more…)

Hezbollah Entering the Fight?

8 January, 2009

Since both Hamas and Hezbollah get their marching orders from Iran, this is something to keep an eye on:

2nd Front? Rockets land in Israel’s north
By MATTI FRIEDMAN
Associated Press – via etaiwannews
2009-01-08

Residents of this northern Israeli town awoke Thursday to one of their country’s worst nightmares: Rockets from Lebanon, and a possible second front in a battle that has raged for two weeks in the Gaza Strip.

No armed group claimed responsibility for the two Katyusha rockets that landed in Israel, and quiet returned to the border after a brief retaliation by Israeli artillery. But the point had been made: Israel may be tied up in an offensive aimed at halting rocket fire from Hamas in the Gaza Strip, but millions more Israelis are vulnerable to rockets from the north.

Israel now faces threats on two of its borders not from rival states but from Arab militant groups that answer to no recognized government.

Hamas rockets threaten about 1 million Israelis out of a population of 7 million, and Israel’s military believes that the rockets in the arsenal of the Lebanese group Hezbollah can hit most of the remaining 6 million.

“We’re all a bit traumatized at the moment,” said Sarit Arieli, 44, who awoke to the sound of the rocket’s impact in Nahariya and was standing outside the nursing home it hit several hours later. But she added, “I think we’re stronger than them.”

Is world being distracted?

Is Gaza war an Iranian ploy to divert attention away from nuke program?

Ashley Perry – Ynetnews
01.06.09 – Israel Opinion

The fighting in Gaza has filled the columns of every international newspaper and reputable news website around the world. International television and radio have provided a sea of analysts to pore over every detail, every inch and every angle of the operation. All the major international organizations such as the United Nations, the European Union and the Arab League are discussing nothing else.

Perhaps this is the point of the whole conflict, and the decision by Hamas not to renew the ceasefire. Conceivably, the conflict was created to divert attention from something else, rather more pressing.

Only weeks ago much of the world’s spotlight – the politicians and media, if not the average person in the street, was focused on Iran. Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons was such a pressing concern that as one high-level British official told me, “Every Member of Parliament’s door is open on this issue.”

The situation has become so desperate that the Arab nations had petitioned the UN to hold meetings on Iran. The five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany agreed to discuss with the Gulf Cooperation Council member states, Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq, the issue of the Iranian nuclear file.

This meeting was extremely crucial for a united front against Iran. One of the Arab attendees stressed that there was a new “understanding” about the threat Iran posed to the region and beyond.

The US, Europe and many others had been pushing for tougher sanctions that would have surely broken the otherwise struggling Iranian economy. Even Russia, faced with such unanimity on the Iranian nuclear issue, could not hold out its opposition to stronger sanctions.

While oil reached the halcyon days of $150 a barrel, Iran could ignore the sanctions as a mere irritant. With oil now hovering around $40 a barrel (and Iran’s lower-quality crude selling even cheaper,) disaster is just over the horizon, financial analysts say. Foreign imports will be throttled, incomes will drop, Iran’s currency will weaken and inflation will grow even worse. The Iranian government might actually be brought to task and have to concede to prevent harsher sanctions.

This is something that the Iranian regime cannot contemplate; not when it is so close to achieving its nuclear ambitions.

Lost amidst the smoke of the battle in Gaza is a very important report released during the very last days of 2008 by the French Government.

The long-awaited report prepared for the French National Assembly (parliament) and submitted to President Nicolas Sarkozy is the fruit of a bipartisan effort headed by Jean-Louis Bianco, a prominent Socialist Member of Parliament, and senior advisor to President Francois Mitterrand in the 1980s and 1990s.

The report declares unequivocally that Iran is a “short distance” from securing all it needs to make a nuclear warhead.

To differentiate this report and to provide it with an air of authenticity beyond reproach, the findings were based only on facts acknowledged by the Iranians themselves.

Muslim world crying crocodile tears as Israeli attacks on gaza prove successful.

28 December, 2008

crocodile_tears
Muslims hate the Jews because they were first to recognize mohammed as a simple conman. This disgusting display of misguided anger is just additional proof of a major muslim inferiority complex. Had a single Jewish civilian fired a single homemade rocket into gaza the backlash would have been the same. Not a single muslim of any notoriety condemned the hundreds of rockets fired from gaza into Israel or the years of terrorism directed her way. The lack of concern for non muslims tells more about islam than all of the apologists and protesters ever will. The biggest gift islam has given the world is parading muslims into the public light. We know more about islam every day because we watch what they do and stopped listening to what they say.

Israel stands as a testament to the entire muslim worlds failure. At best, muslim society is 400-500 years behind Israel and the west. Free men have left these primitive savages behind. Slaves to an archaic ideology (islam) muslims are trapped in the past. Once islam had poets, scholars, scribes, mathematicians to represent them. Now violence, subjugation of women, children, infidels and a global criminal organization represent them. This muslim outrage is not about Israel it never was, it is about modern man showing them to be a weak and backwards people trapped and enslaved by an ideology proven to be a failure centuries ago.

By PAUL SCHEMM, 27 December, 2008
The Arab world reacted with outrage at Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip on Saturday, launching scattered protests and calls for retaliation against Israel.

The Arab League announced a gathering of foreign ministers Wednesday would focus on the attack, said the organization’s chairman Amr Moussa.
-Such outrage but they scheduled a meeting for next week? As I always say, watch what they do and do not listen to what they say. You can bet your ass if Canada fired a rocket at New York American leaders would be meeting right now.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit extended his condolences to the Palestinians killed in the attacks and said Egypt, which brokered a six-month long truce between Hamas and Israel that expired a little over a week ago, has been trying to avoid such an escalation.
-Nice of AP to report that the palestinians broke the truce, nice journalism (sarcasm)

‘Today everybody has to stand by the side of the Palestinian people and stop this blind military action,’ the foreign minister said.
-I do not I hope they flatten that dump and poor salt over the ruins.

Egypt also came under attack by many in the Arab world for its role, along with Israel, in closing the Gaza Strip after the militant group Hamas came to power in June 2007. The closure is often seen as abetting Israel’s siege of the crowded strip of land home to 1.5 million people.

A few hundred protesters gathered in Cairo Saturday calling for an end to the strikes.

In Lebanon, about 4,000 protesters marched through a refugee camp in the southern part of the country, condemning the attacks in general, and Egypt in particular.
-The low numbers are a disaster for the ummah, even minions get tired of the old muslims are the victims lie. (more…)

Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Hezbollah, and FARC – A Deadly Brew

19 September, 2008

Some crazy stuff going on with Hugo Chavez and his buddies that is going to come back and bite us on the rump if we don’t act soon:

Chavez’s Dangerous Liaisons
Venezuela teams up with Russia and Iran.
by Jaime Daremblum – The Weekly Standard
09/19/2008

Russia’s dispatch of long-range bombers to Venezuela for joint military exercises may not signal the start of a new Cold War, but it does provide more evidence that Hugo Chávez has become the chief source of hemispheric instability. To be sure, the Venezuelan president is increasingly unpopular in Latin America (and increasingly unpopular at home), and his influence over regional politics is declining. But high oil prices have given him the power to cause trouble and threaten U.S. interests.

Venezuela’s announcement that it will stage war games with Russian forces was at least partly a response to American security policy. Earlier this year, the U.S. Navy reestablished its Fourth Fleet, which had been disestablished way back in 1950. The Fourth Fleet will oversee U.S. naval activities in Latin American and Caribbean waters. By planning sophisticated military maneuvers with Russian warships, Chávez is making a bold show of anti-Yankee defiance. (The Kremlin, of course, has its own reasons for wanting to irritate Washington.)

His pockets bulging with oil wealth, Chávez has spent billions of petrodollars on Russian weapons. He has also reached out to Iran and cultivated warm bilateral relations. As the Los Angeles Times recently reported, Western officials fear that the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah “is using Venezuela as a base for operations.” One Western anti-terrorism official told the Times that the Venezuela-Iran relationship is “becoming a strategic partnership.”
