Nancy Pelosi Thinks The First Amendment Covers Gun Ownership

10 February, 2013

Uh…  This is as big a blunder as John Boehner confusing the Constitution with the Declaration of Independence.

And folks still wonder why Our government is so screwed up:

Boycott America

24 January, 2013

By Ronin, 24 January 2013

Now that our government has decided what type marriages we support, how our military should run, who should be allowed in our country and what benefits they will receive, how much free medical care that addicts should receive and how to force gun registration on us (among other stupid ideas).   I have decided to show the low life self-serving opportunists in Washington what I think of all these ideas.  Starting today I am officially not buying American.

Buying American provides jobs which means people can earn money and pay taxes.  By not buying American goods and products I am removing taxes from the thieves in Washington.   They cannot enforce policies that they cannot pay for.  So join me, stop buying American! (more…)

Ronin Rambles on Gun Control

18 January, 2013

By Ronin, 18 January 2013.

First let me start by admitting that I own no firearms (on paper).  The last weapon that I bought that had a paper work trail was over twenty years ago.  Personally I think any list that shows the types of weapons you own is inviting a confrontation between you and a thief.  Anyone working in any office with any database could sell, lose the data or it could be hacked, bottom line, make no list.

You see guns I trust, its people that I have a problem with.  If I owned an impressive list of weapons and registered them with the government, local authorities or just the local gun club, that list would lead anyone that thinks they can own those same weapons for free right back to me.  For the protection of a potential thief I personally will never register another weapon.   I have already seen what happens to thieves, I am ok with keeping the rest far enough away that they can safely pass on by.  It doesn’t matter to me what laws are passed or not passed, I will never register another weapon or vote for anyone that even suggests that gun registration is a good idea, end of story.

I suggest that you all consider helping a thief live out their miserable lives by not listing your firearms on anyone’s list for any reason.  Some of you dependent on where you live might find that idea impractical or illegal, I got it.  You do what you have to do.  Just make me a promise that you consider anyone entering your home to remove a weapon to be a thief and we all know what thieves deserve.

Every weapon that I have ever bought traded for or owned has been sold, swapped, traded for non-guns or went through so many friends and family members that even I could not track them back down.  Good luck to anyone tracking them.   As a matter of policy and because most of my friends tend to distrust those in authority, all of us will swear on a stack of holy books to anyone that asked about any weapon that we have never owned it, seen it or held it.  Then we will be very helpful pointing those same authorities to someone several states away.  Being civic minded like we are we love to help folks out. Nancy “The Wraith” Pelosi Blames Supreme Court for Congressional “Bay of Libs” Slaughter in 2010

17 January, 2012

Yeah, it couldn’t be that the American public finally woke up to Congress’s Progressive Libtard agenda once a full-blown communist took over the White House.  Nope, it had to be the Supreme Court—or pixies…or, something like that:

Pelosi: SCOTUS, superPACs lost Dems our majority
17 JAN 2012 – by Joel Gehrke Commentary Staff Writer – Washington Examiner

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said that Democrats lost control of the House in 2010 because of superPACs, and by extension the Supreme Court, which caught Democrats by surprise when they started spending money in the 2010 cycle.

“Once those major special interests knew that they could contribute endlessly, secretly, without anybody knowing where the money came from, then the floodgates opened,” Pelosi said during the Politico Playbook breakfast. “May of last year — Easter, say, Passover of last year — not many people thought we would lose the house. By the time the [DISCLOSE campaign finance legislation] failed in the Senate, it was all over because it was going to be endless, endless money coming up on 9.5 percent unemployment.”

Pelosi explained that superPACs came about through a “miserable decision by the Supreme Court to allow any and all funding — secret, large, special interest contributions into campaign.” She dismissed the Supreme Court decision as “ridiculous.”

“What the court did is something so drastic,” Pelosi [said],  “it rolled back progress for 100 years.” She called for a “new politics, free of the special interest.”

Year Zero

1 January, 2012

Happy Year Zero. 2012, (the former name) is our last chance to save what freedoms are left in the USA and for each of us to decide-freedom or slavery, rights over comfort, stand fast or cave. This is the year that determines if America will remain a symbol of freedom or morph into a symbol of oppression.

I have a few bets with my military and law enforcement friends that the 2012 elections will never happen. Or they will happen but massive voter fraud will make them meaningless. In order to understand why I feel that way you must first take a quick look back at all the drama, corruption and attacks that our nation has endured under the current regime: The non stimulating stimulus, High unemployment, Inflation, Control of the media, Bailouts, Scandals, Fast and Furious, Control of the occupy movement, Ignorance of the threat posed by hard line Muslims in the USA including ignoring their stated reasons to attack fellow Americans, Connections to Arab uprisings over old allies, Support for Islamic supremacy organizations inside the USA, Global warming pushed with no scientific backers or evidence, Support to U.N. programs to build global controls over, firearms, media, limit freedom of speech and religion, Support for unions over workers, Failures of foreign policy, Green jobs, Missing bailout money, Questionable birth certificates, Agenda driven Judges, Homosexual rights over the majority vote, senior officials dismissing the constitution over their own agendas.

I will admit that was a shortlist and I could have written pages to support each of those and more. What is more important is the pattern. Each of those categories works within the system to bring us to our knees.

History has proven that governments with absolute power absolutely protect that power while craving even more. I simply see parallels with other historical regimes that chose a crack down on dissenters over a peaceful transition of power. I expect our current regime to do no less than crack down on dissenters. I would be shocked but happy to be wrong on this but I am predicting that some yet to be named national disaster will suddenly appear and force the USA to “postpone” the 2012 election. Why? Because Obama cannot win and I do not think that he will just walk away. Our ruling elite might be corrupt and incompetent but they are not stupid, they understand the people are starting to scrutinize their actions and they do not like what they see. Not only is our president worried but so are the rest of our loving leaders, the congress and possibly most activist judges should all be refreshing their resumes. With elections comes an out with the old and in with the new hope for the future. That is not a future our leadership wants to see. (more…)

Barney “the Gay Dinosaur” Frank Drops Out of 2012 Re-Election Bid

28 November, 2011

Probably the only other thing he’s ever dropped is a bar of soap:

Rep. Frank won’t run for reelection

The Hill

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) will announce Monday that he is not seeking re-election, ending a 32-year career in the House.

Frank, 71, is the top Democrat on the Financial Services Committee and the architect, with former Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), of the sweeping Wall Street regulatory reform law enacted in 2010.

He is scheduled to hold a press conference at 1 p.m. in his district, according to a spokesman, who said the congressman would announce at that time the reason for his decision. His retirement will deprive the House of one of its most colorful characters, a man known for his quick and often caustic wit.

[…]

Nope.  The article doesn’t mention his pot smoking nor his homosexual lover at Fannie Mae, Herb Moses.  Instead, we are treated to this:

His legislative legacy is likely to be the Dodd-Frank financial reform bill that passed in 2010 in the wake of the Wall Street meltdown that sent the economy into a tailspin in 2008. Hailed by the Obama administration, the law has drawn sharp criticism in the Republican presidential nomination fight, and one leading contender, former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), even suggested that Frank be jailed, along with Dodd, for their support of the mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the lead-up to the financial crisis.

[…]

And, which financial institutions responsible for the 2008 crash were exempted from Barney’s Dodd-Frank Financial Deform Legislation?  Fannie & Freddie, that’s who!

Our Dark Overlords Introduce Bill Which Bans Websites

28 October, 2011

Still think you are living in the land of the free?:

U.S. Government Seeks to Create Website Ban List
Written by Raven Clabough    –  TheNewAmerican

The U.S. House of Representatives recently introduced a “rogue websites” bill that has managed to attract bipartisan support even though it would force Internet Service Providers to create a list of banned websites and prevent users of those websites from accessing their sites. The list is all too similar to the “ban lists” that are found in China.

Breitbart.com reports: “US lawmakers introduced a bill on Wednesday that would give US authorities more tools to crack down on websites accused of piracy of movies, television shows and music and the sale of counterfeit goods.”

Entitled the Stop Online Piracy Act, the bill reads:

A service provider shall take technically feasible and reasonable measures designed to prevent access by its subscribers located within the United States to the foreign infringing site (or portion thereof) that is subject to the order, including measures designed to prevent the domain name of the foreign infringing site (or portion thereof) from resolving to that domain name’s Internet Protocol address.

It is the House version of a bill that was introduced in the U.S. Senate earlier this year called the Theft of Intellectual Property Act or Protect IP Act.

While the touted focus of the bill is on foreign websites, it may just as easily be applied to all .com domains.

The very language of the bill indicates it is trying to empower the federal government to ban websites.

According to journalist Paul Joseph Watson, “The only difference between this system and the draconian measures currently in place in countries like Iran, China and North Korea, is that the ISP’s would be mandated to enforce the ban list, rather than the websites being blocked via a centralized government hub.”

The Center for Democracy and Technology issued a statement indicating that the House version of the bill “includes the most controversial parts of the Senate’s Protect IP Act, but radically expands the scope.” It adds, “Any website that features user-generated content or that enables cloud-based data storage could end up in its crosshairs.”

‘Rebel Pundit’ Catches Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky Marching with ‘Occupy’ Protesters in Chicago

11 October, 2011

A thousand protesters and not a single American flag to be found…  However, there are commie red flags being proudly displayed:

Of course, Jan Schakowsky is another Lefturd in Congress who thinks you don’t deserve to keep all your money.

Barney “The Gay Dinosaur” Wants Runaway Inflation

3 May, 2011

Yes, you heard that right.  Barney Frank wants runaway inflation!

Why?  Well, first answer me this:  What happens when the Fed increases interest rates?  Historically, inflation ratchets up.  Currently, there are several members on the Federal Reserve Board who are “hawkish.”  That means, with all this monetizing of the debt under the enigmatic title of Quantitative Easing, they are VERY concerned about runaway inflation if the Fed increases the interest rates.

Right now, since the Fed and Congress have mucked around too much with the economy, it’s a game of plugging holes in the economic dam as fast as you can to keep it from bursting and drowning Americans in a tidal wave of rapid inflation.  Obviously, keeping interest rates low is paramount to keeping the structural stability of a damaged economic dam in check.  Barney Frank wants to pull that emergency plug by getting rid of those hawkish board members.

So, back to my original question:  Why?  Well, considering that Barney Frank championed ACORN until it became a political liability and was, quite literally and figuratively, in bed with Fannie Mae which began the financial collapse of our economy in 2008, one can only conclude that Barney Frank continues to embrace the Cloward-Piven Strategy to effect Change you can believe in.  Either that, or he has been smoking way too much ganja:

Rep. Frank targets Fed hawks
Wants to strip regional bank presidents of FOMC vote
May 3, 2011, MarketWatch

Under its current structure, 12 of the Fed’s 19 members vote at interest rate setting meetings. The seven members of the Fed’s board of governors in Washington, who are appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate.

The regional Fed presidents are picked by their individual boards of directors, often regional bankers and local business leaders. While the president of the key Federal Reserve Bank of New York also always has a vote on the FOMC, the remaining eleven Fed bank presidents rotate as voting members.

In a discussion on CNBC of his bill, Frank said the current Fed structure is undemocratic. He noted that regional Fed bank presidents are not picked by elected officials, so they should not vote on key public-policy issues such as setting the level of interest rates.

In other words, Barney Frank wants to strip control from the board members on the Fed and give absolute control over the interest rates to the government!  More government, more control, more economic disasters.  Does anyone care to guess as to which ideological path this is heading down?  I’ll help you out:  Communism!

Regional Fed bank presidents are picked by their boards of directors, made up of regional bankers and local business leaders.

“I think it is fine for them to sit in and make recommendations,” but when it comes to voting they should be excluded, Frank said.

Their presence as voting members “it totally inconsistent with any kind of theory of democracy,” Frank said.

“It undermines legitimacy when you have literally people who are in the financial industry picking people to vote on setting interest rates,” Frank said.

Uh…  Okay, let’s all pause for a moment and let the hypocrisy of Barney’s statements really sink in…

EPIC FAIL! – Nancy Pelosi: “Drill Baby Drill Won’t Lower Gas Prices”

26 April, 2011

Apparently, Nancy flunked economics 101; The Law of Supply and Demand.

Her ridiculous  comment is just more insanity from the world of Lefturds who will do and say anything to advance their green agenda at your expense (as in; from your wallet to their pocketbook—“Su dinero es mi dinero!” ):

Pelosi: Having More Oil Won’t Lower Oil Prices
Posted by Aurelius

Clearly Nancy Pelosi has never heard of “supply and demand.”  It’s a simple concept, really: the less of something you have, the more expensive it is because of its scarcity and vice versa.

Apparently no one ever told this basic concept to disgraced Democrat Representative Nancy Pelosi.  Taking to Twitter, she exclaimed yesterday:

The problem is, as usual, the facts simply do not agree with Ms. Pelosi.
